Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Concept Images Reveal a New Realm of Innovation

How does a brand behind the S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ continue to innovate after coming out with curved displays that blew its competition away? Of course, we’re talking about Samsung here. We all know that the company is working on its next flagship, the S7. And every little detail about the upcoming phone is welcomed by tech enthusiasts all over. The biggest question on everybody’s mind is how Samsung is going to better itself with the S7.
We have already seen a curved display on the side. So perhaps it’s only logical that the company might curve the screen from somewhere else. How about the top and bottom for a change? Some concept images posted by 3DFuture on its blog show what could be Samsung’s next design. And it looks as sleek as it does futuristic.
Samsung has filed design patents and folks at 3DFuture have released images based on those patents. There is no guarantee that the S7 Edge will follow this design, but visuals are always welcomed. The image above and below reveal a sleek, sharp design where the edged display take the top and bottom position now. The concept also shows no hint of a home button while the volume buttons on the side remain intact. The rest of the design with a full metal unibody oozes style and luxury.
While you take a few minutes analysing the images, we would also like to let you know about other rumours going around. It is likely that Samsung is working on a 3D Touch feature that will be seen in the upcoming flagship. The concepts also support rumours of a fully metallic unibody. Other features could see a 5.8-inch display, UHD resolution, 4GB RAM, and Snapdragon 820 chipset and Exynos processors for East Asian markets.
We will bring you more details on the Galaxy S7 as it comes. Let us know what you think of the concept design in the comments below.

Sony has started sending media invites for the launch event of the new Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium phones in India. Sony’s Xperia Z5 Compact will give India market a miss, at least for now.
While the Xperia Z5 is an update to the Xperia flagship line, the Xperia Z5 Premium takes things to the next level on the display front. The new Sony devices will compete with flagships from other companies such as the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, Nexus 6P, among others.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a 5.5-inch 4K Triluminos display giving an impressive 806PPI pixel density. Sony promises that it will upscale images and full HD videos to 4K resolution. Clearly Sony seems to be banking on superior display experience to position the Xperia Z5 as a premium product.
Despite the impressive display, the device is designed to offer ‘2-day’ battery life on the Xperia Z5 Premium with a 3,430mAh battery in the Premium. The phone comes in Chrome, Gold and Black variants. Pricing will be revealed November when it will be launched and it will come in both single SIM and dual SIM variants both of which support 4G Cat 6 LTE as well.
The Xperia Z5 comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display sporting the same design as its predecessor – the Xperia Z3+. Both phones feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC along with the Adreno 430GPU and 3GB RAM, 32GB of on-board storage with the Z5 Premium letting you add on up to 200GB via a microSD card to give storage space for your 4K content.
An interesting feature in the device is power button on the Xperia Z5, which also functions as a fingerprint sensor.

Google Nexus 6P unboxing

Google Nexus 6P unboxing
You know what enthusiasts and purist want when it comes to serious Androidsmartphones. Indeed, the Nexus 5X is an attractive option, not only for its vanilla Android experience, but also for its tempting starting price of $379. The savings might be paramount for some, but for those who relish on wanting the best experience, the Google Nexus 6P undoubtedly comes clamoring onto the scene with its impressive specs sheet and gorgeous unibody metal design.Even though its packaging shares the same rectangular footprint as the Nexus 5X box, it’s sporting rounded corners and another printed wrapping that bears a distinct ‘P’ on the front – with a rendered image of the phone on the back. Yet, the entire packaging is still a minimalist one that isn’t ornate, which kind of make sense factoring its “pureness.”

Uncovering the front portion of the packaging, the first thing that comes across our path is the quick start guide showing us images to some of the handset’s notable points. Underneath that, we have the main compartment that stores the phone, additional pamphlets, wall charger, and two charging cables. The latter is of significant importance because unlike the Nexus 5X, this one comes with both a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, as well as a USB Type-C to USB Type-A one. This is a pretty big deal, because most people probably have several standard USB wall chargers in their possession. Therefore, the latter cable ensures that the existing set of wall chargers you have aren’t obsolete.

Alternatively, it can also be used to charge through a standard USB port – and even transfer data easily from a USB port on your computer. For its starting $499 cost, we’d say that the packaging is very well all expected. Sure, there’s no included headphones or whatnot, but we’re gladly accepting of the two types of cables that come out of the box. Expect our in-depth review soon!

I played Asphalt 8, installed on internal storage. Game clearly lagged in all the visual modes available – i.e. high, medium, low, very low. The hardware is well known and this should not have happened, probably the OS is not properly tweaked.
Camera
There is 8MP AF camera with LED flash on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front. Primary camera can shoot 1920 x 1080 pixel video. Camera quality is average; the street light shot was impressive. Do check the sample video and images at the end of this review.

No issues with sound (in-call and loud speaker), it’s loud and clear. 4G worked on both SIM and I did not face any issues with WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.

The Yu Yunique is a beautiful looking handset, using a well known snapdragon 410 64 bit quad core processor running 32 bit Android Lollipop. Unfortunately when it came to gaming the performance was pretty disappointing. But in general the handset performed really well.
